The Beauty of Contrast: A Classic and Contemporary Tuscan Wedding

The wedding of this British couple, with the groom of Italian descent, was a celebration of beautiful contrasts. For their union, they chose the historic Villa Barsocchini, a magnificent 17th-century residence in the hills of Lucca. The classic setting, with its beautiful Italian architecture, provided the perfect backdrop for a contemporary, unostentatious event.

The celebration was incredibly intimate, with only 12 guests, reflecting a preference for an authentic and focused experience. Il Grappolo Events was responsible for harmonizing these two worlds: we created the table design and floral arrangements, complementing the villa's majesty with a modern, delicate aesthetic.

Working in close collaboration with a private chef, we coordinated the catering service, ensuring the culinary experience was impeccable yet understated—focused on quality and flavor, not on ostentation.
